The Deck and Outside Area

Guests are welcome to use the deck at Aegean Blue for pursuits such as yoga, meditation and physical training. Situated at the edge of the cliff top overlooking the sea, this facility has awe-inspiring panoramic views. Imagine saluting the sunrise here! A stereo system is available for your use and there is nothing quite like the soft sound of laid-back tunes carrying on the breeze. However, given the beautiful evenings at Podaras, the deck has also been known host the odd party!

In addition to the tables and chairs outside each apartment, there is a shared area available to all guests who wish to sit back and take in the views during the day or enjoy a quiet drink or a chat in the evening.

The 120 square metre deck has a hard wood floor covering so can be used for any purpose. However, it does need regular cleaning and we also recommend that groups bring exercise mats to work on.

Swimming Pool

Completed by June 2010

Aegean Blue is pleased to announce that its plans for a chlorine-free swimming pool with waterfall and blue-on-blue view will be completed very soon. In the meantime, the warm crystal waters of the Aegean Sea come highly recommended!

Night

As the hot days give way to warm evenings, it is the building itself at Aegean Blue that takes centre stage. Its atmospheric lighting and imposing angles make this a truly stunning location! Why not simply sit in the cool of the evening looking at the moon and stars while taking in the gentle night sounds: cicadas; the occasional bark of the local dogs; the croaking of the frogs; the gentle lapping of waves on the shore. It is truly an unforgettable experience!

Groups

Aegean Blue will accommodate a maximum of 16 people: 3 in each of the 4 studio apartments on the ground floor and 4 in the apartment at the top of the building. However, in order to fit in with the nature of your party, room-to-room arrangements are flexible and, depending on your requirements, you may be able to book all or part of the complex. Please contact us to discuss particulars and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Food and Shopping

Accommodation at Aegean Blue is self-catering with the nearest mini-supermarkets being located in Tavari, a 15 minute walk away along the spectacular coastal road.  For information about local shopping facilities, please click here. Please also note that the local beach taverna (open in July and August) will gladly provide a wide range of delicious and inexpensive homemade dishes (many vegetarian), to eat in or take-away.

Parking

There is plenty of parking at Aegean Blue but, for the comfort of other guests, we would ask that car drivers keep the side of the building and the upper parking level free. Instead, please leave any rented cars to the rear on the gravelled area.

Wireless Internet

Wireless Internet access at Aegean Blue will be available shortly so, if guests wish to bring laptops with them, we hope this will make things a little easier!  If required, please ask on arrival for the access code.
