Linen and Laundry
- Bed linen, bathroom towels, a pool towel and a beach towel are provided for each guest. Guests will be notified on arrival of laundry days and are asked to leave items to be washed outside their apartments for collection.
Shopping for Supplies
- The fishing village of Tavari is a 15-minute walk or 5-minute drive west along the scenic coast road. Most provisions you will need are available at the local mini-supermarkets.
- In addition, a greater variety of fresh produce is sold from a van several times a week, usually in the morning.
- The mini-supermarkets and fresh produce van in Tavari are branches of larger shops in Mesotopos, which is 4 km inland. Absolutely everything is available here if you are prepared to look. We also recommend asking the locals who are friendly and eager to help.
Water
- As throughout the whole of Greece, water is a precious resource at Podaras and all over the island of Lesbos. We therefore request that you use it with great care.
- Tap water is perfectly suitable to drink but for those who would prefer, bottled water is widely available.
